about me:
I'm a girl from the capital of Finland (Helsinki), who left her beloved country of thousand lakes already 11 years ago in order to move to Denmark...to the land of frikadeller and fairytales :)
My life has been all about chasing a small, 5 gram shuttle with a racket, millions of hours of training and badminton halls all around the world.
Now I'm 31 years old and study at Frøbel in Frederiksberg to become a pedagog. Earlier, in 2006, I finished the basic studies of special pedagogics at Helsinki university.
Although I'm 31, I am by no means a grown-up ;) Winter is my element and my motto is to be happy and to follow the wise words of a finnish childrens song... "sitä ei voi ylittää, sitä ei voi alittaa, sitä ei voi kiertää...täytyy mennä lävitse!" Shortly translated: you can't try to avoid things. The only way is to face them.
It's the 5th semester of my studies and I've gotten a chance to attend an international course called: Pedagogical work with children and young people in an European perspective. I'm looking forward to the next months with curiosity, excitement, openess and, well...a bit of nervousness and shyness as well. Otherwise it wouldn't be me.
